Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) affects many children, and can cause significant problems in various domains of their lives (i.e. academic performance, social functioning, etc.). This Journal of Pediatrics article found that many children with ADHD were not receiving treatment as outlined in the 2011 best practice guidelines.
